STORY: Walking down Bryant Park on Memorial Day, I was about to cross an intersection when someone dressed up as an ice cream server suddenly stepped into my path and asked, "Want ice cream?"
"Is it free??"
"Yep!!"
me: "OMG YES"
Turns out Haagen Dazs decided to hand out free mini versions of their Caramel Cone flavored ice cream for Memorial Day! Yay!! Thank you!
THOUGHTS: Average. But yummy. Caramel syrup was too sweet (when I pulled off the white tab, there was a big swirl of caramel right there on the edge... sweet, much??). I didn't realize caramel was also the ice cream base until I read the description. Chocolatey cone chunks mixed into the cup was VERY satisfying.
The ice cream wasn't as hard as it usually is when you take it out of the freezer. Probably because it had been sitting inside a freezer cooler. Towards the middle of it whenever I scooped, the entire ice cream moved and rotated about my spoon lol.
